Two-for-One Seats for Obese Passengers in Canada

According to a Reuters report, obese passengers may still occupy two airline seats for the price -- on flights within Canada, that is. The Supreme Court of Canada ruled on Thursday. The Canadian Transportation Agency had previously ruled that people who are "functionally disabled by obesity" are entitled to have two seats for the price of one.Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and WestJet appealed, but in declinng to hear the appeal, the ruling sands.
